Terms of Use
Effective October 15, 2026
These terms cover your use of the Tally app and tallyguestlist.com ("Tally"). By creating an account or using Tally, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use Tally.
Your account
- Give accurate information and keep your password safe. You're responsible for what happens on your account.
- One account per person. Don't create accounts for someone else without their permission.
- You can delete your account at any time in the app (Profile → Delete account).
Clubs, hosts and events
Tally provides tools; it doesn't run, own or operate any venue or event. Clubs and hosts are responsible for their events, including who gets in, age and ID checks, capacity, pricing, dress codes and the safety of their guests. Entry is always at the venue's discretion — a ticket or invitation doesn't guarantee entry.
Tickets, codes and links
- QR tickets, invite codes and invite links are personal and work once. They can be canceled or revoked by whoever issued them.
- Show your ticket from the Tally app. Screenshots and copies of QR codes aren't valid.
- Don't sell, resell or trade tickets or codes, or use them to get in more people than they admit.
Promoters and door staff
Promoters may only send the tickets and comps the club or host has given them. Door staff must record check-ins, walk-ins and door payments accurately. Clubs and hosts can change or remove anyone's access at any time.
Payments
Tally lets door staff record door payments so clubs and hosts can see their totals. Tally does not process, hold or transfer money, and isn't responsible for payments made at a venue.
Your content
You keep ownership of what you upload (flyers, photos, event details). You give Tally permission to store and display it to the people it's meant for so the service works. Only upload content you have the right to use, and nothing unlawful, hateful or explicit.
Acceptable use
Don't misuse Tally: no fraud, fake tickets or codes, harassment or spam through invites, attempts to access accounts or data that aren't yours, interfering with the service, or copying, scraping or reverse-engineering the app.
Ending access
We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or put others at risk. You can stop using Tally at any time.
Disclaimers
Tally is provided "as is". We work to keep it running and accurate, but we can't promise it will always be available or error-free — for example, counts recorded offline sync when the connection returns. To the fullest extent allowed by law, Tally isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for anything that happens at an event.
Changes
We may update these terms. We'll change the date above, and for significant changes we'll let you know in the app. Continuing to use Tally means you accept the updated terms.
